The Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) Plant is designed to ensure absolute compliance with environmental regulations by eliminating liquid effluent discharge from industrial processes. The ZLD system typically consists of the following integrated units:
- Solvent Stripping System– Removes volatile components, H₂S, NH₃, and ammoniacal nitrogen from the process condensate.
- Multiple Effect Evaporation (MEE) with Crystallization System– Concentrates the high-TDS effluent and produces solid salts for safe disposal.
- Drying System– Ensures final conversion of concentrated slurry into dry solids, achieving zero liquid output. Our drying technology is most efficient drying solids upto 98% w/w TS based on the nature of solids.
- Process Condensate Stripping System– The process condensate recovered from the ZLD Plant often contains traces of volatile organic compounds, COD, H₂S, NH₃, and ammoniacal nitrogen. These contaminants are effectively reduced using the Process Condensate Stripping System.
- Solid Handling System –we offer compact and easy to handle solids and salt handling, bagging and loading system.
Post-stripping, the treated condensate is fed to a Condensate Polishing Unit (CPU) or Reverse Osmosis (RO) System, enabling its reuse as clean water within the process plant.
